There is an increase in the cost of living in 2025 worldwide, with a recent ranking listing the most expensive cities across the globe, where much money is spent on housing, transport, foodstuffs, and other essentials. The list has lots of cities in Asia and Europe, with one city from India making it to the top 20 cities globally.
